Remote Senior Developer, Front End

Description:

• The Senior Front End Developer will be dedicated to the Innovation Lab at Workleap, where new products are built from scratch with a startup mindset.
• Responsibilities include taking ownership of the front-end development process, collaborating with designers for UI/UX, maintaining clean front-end code, and providing support to early adopters.
• A typical week involves developing new features, design, technical feedback, support, and team meetings.
• Future challenges include building new features, collaborating with the platform team, and enhancing front-end development practices.
• The role involves working closely with co-founders, product managers, designers, and other developers to create innovative experiences.

Requirements:

• Expertise in front-end software development using TypeScript, React, and CSS.
• Comfortable with Netlify, JavaScript infrastructure, webpack, npm, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Storybook and Chromatic.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for stakeholders and the team.
• Knowledge of current trends, best practices, performance, security, and usability.
• Experience in product and design lifecycles, collaborating with designers, developers, and product managers.
• Autonomous, high agency, and great to work with.
• Experience in start-up environments is a bonus.
