Description:

The Senior Developer Relations Engineer will help shape the future of Ethereum and the multichain world at OP Labs.
This role is part of the Developer Experience (DevX) team, focusing on building and advocating for tools that facilitate seamless multichain development.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining example applications and documentation to showcase developer tools.
The engineer will engage in evangelism by creating technical content, presenting at conferences, and participating in livestreams and hackathons.
Community engagement is key, as the engineer will interact with the developer community to gather feedback and drive product enhancements.
The role involves actively contributing to the improvement of developer tools through pull requests and feature suggestions.
Internal collaboration with engineering, product, and marketing teams is essential to ensure tools are developer-friendly.
Open source contributions are encouraged, promoting best practices for developer experience.

Requirements:

A strong background in software engineering with experience in building developer tools and/or blockchain applications is required.
Comfort with Solidity is important, and knowledge or willingness to learn Golang is helpful.
Familiarity with Git, Github workflows, and making pull requests is necessary.
A history of contributions to open source projects is expected.
A deep interest in improving tools for developers and enhancing the development process is essential, along with empathy for the developer experience.
The ability to explain technical concepts clearly through written content and presentations is required.
Proven experience in creating technical content such as blogs, tutorials, and demos is necessary, ideally with a history of driving adoption of a tool or technology.
