Description:

The Senior DevOps role is part of the VeliX team, which combines art and technology to enhance the operational aspects of iGaming companies and improve user experiences.
Responsibilities include working with the Development team and product managers, designing and implementing build, deployment, and configuration management, evaluating and testing designs, and building automation tools for infrastructure provisioning.
The role also involves handling code deployments, monitoring metrics, providing technical guidance, brainstorming for improvements, maintaining configuration standards, managing CI and CD tools, documenting processes, and optimizing infrastructure and application development.
Key areas of focus include DDoS protection and infrastructure cost optimization, as well as developing and optimizing platform observability processes and tools.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, and VPC.
A deep understanding of Linux OS is required.
Significant experience with Kubernetes is essential.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform, is necessary.
Scripting skills in Bash, GO, or Python are required.
An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is important.
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and logging tools such as the ELK/EFK stack is needed.
Proficiency in version control using GIT, including branching, pull/push, and resolving merge conflicts, is required.
Candidates should have strong skills with CI/CD tools like ArgoCD and GitLab CI.
Comprehensive knowledge of DDoS protection strategies and technologies is essential.
Advanced skills in Cloudflare DDoS protection through Workers, WAF, and additional capabilities are required.
