The Senior or Principal DevOps Architect will assess existing infrastructure and design scalable architecture patterns across the stack.
This is a hands-on role that will assist the DevOps team in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for improvements and innovation.
The role involves championing DevOps best practices and collaborating closely with software engineering, software quality engineering, product, and project management teams.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing release pipelines, CI/CD, monitoring, and environment management.
The architect will collaborate with leadership to execute a comprehensive roadmap for building out the DevOps practice at an enterprise scale.
The position requires modernizing and streamlining existing promotion, release, and environment management processes.
The architect will drive metrics and KPIs to monitor progress across the DevOps practice and promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree is required.
Experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, and/or software engineering is necessary.
Candidates must have experience designing and building enterprise-level infrastructure.
Proficiency in using infrastructure as code, automation, and other tools is required.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer.
Preferred qualifications include experience building out and scaling enterprise-level DevOps and managing fully remote teams across multiple time zones.
Experience working with Agile teams, particularly in a Scaled Agile environment, is preferred.
Proficiency in automation, configuration management, and deployment tools such as AWS Code Pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Docker is desired.
A solid understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS and Salesforce, as well as Infrastructure as Code concepts using Terraform or CloudFormation, is preferred.
Familiarity with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is beneficial.
Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are a plus.
