Remote Senior DevOps Architect

Description:

• As a Senior DevOps Architect at Effectual, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing DevOps practices.
• You will play a critical role in architecting and securing Kubernetes clusters and its ecosystem.
• Reporting to the Sr. Director App Modernization Practice, you will need a deep understanding of DevOps and security principles to seamlessly integrate them.
• Responsibilities include technical leadership, architecture and design, Kubernetes expertise, security integration, toolchain management, automation and orchestration, monitoring and performance optimization, collaboration, and training.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience in a DevOps role.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestrators.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in DevOps, security, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell).
• Mastery of containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
