Remote Senior Devops Engineer

Description:

• The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and documenting internal systems primarily used by sysadmins, developers, and SecOps.
• They will support colleagues with ad-hoc inquiries relating to maintained systems and ensure the stability, availability, and security of these systems.
• The role involves shaping and ensuring the use of best practice automation at the product level and performing cost optimization and capacity planning by scaling systems accordingly.
• The engineer will also ensure that best practices and modern tools are used at the department level through Research and Development.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a role in System Administration/DevOps.
• 3+ years of experience working with Linux-based systems.
• Knowledge of Bash and Git.
• Experience with AWS managed services.
• Experience with Containerization and/or Virtualization.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
• Quick learner with a proactive attitude and high attention to details.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
