We are a Polish branch of a fast-growing InsurTech product company from Silicon Valley, Hippo Insurance, aiming to revolutionize home insurance in the US.
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team, with opportunities to shape your career based on your expertise and interests.
The role offers three potential paths: DevSecOps Engineer, Data Platform DevOps Engineer, or Senior DevOps Engineer, depending on your skills and experience.
Responsibilities include building a scalable and resilient infrastructure for the Hippo platform, enhancing developer productivity through tools and CI/CD processes, and working with various cloud providers and open-source tools.
Daily tasks involve using Golang, Python, and scripting languages like bash to build and scale tools, APIs, and serverless functions.
You will have creative freedom and ownership of your projects, with opportunities for skill development and learning about tech business in the US.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering, with knowledge of build/release automation.
Proficiency in Golang, Python, or Bash is required.
Understanding of AWS VPC or GCP networking, including network separation, security groups, and ACLs, is necessary.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD systems, and Terraform is essential.
Comfort with logging and metrics systems is expected.
Enjoyment of working in a small, focused, and efficient team is important.
A good command of English (written and spoken) is required.
Availability in the afternoons for collaboration with the United States is necessary, with respect for work-life balance.
Experience with messaging systems like SNS/SQS or Kafka is a plus.

Salary ranges from 24,000 to 30,000 PLN + VAT on B2B or equivalent on the contract of employment.
