Description:

The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure infrastructure in AWS and Azure, specifically tailored for high-stakes fintech applications.
This role involves implementing and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform, with configurations designed for cloud environments and big data workloads.
The engineer will automate deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, and Ansible to ensure reliable and efficient code deployment.
Responsibilities also include implementing secure data handling protocols and fintech-specific security measures, including integration with Fireblocks for blockchain transactions and KYC tools like Jumio and FaceAPI.
The position requires writing and maintaining Python scripts for automation, data processing, and integration tasks.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in DevOps, with a specific focus on the fintech sector.
Advanced knowledge of AWS and Azure services, including RDS, EMR, and VPC configuration, is required.
Strong experience with DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, and GitLab CI/CD is essential.
Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python is necessary.
Familiarity with big data processing tools, particularly Amazon EMR, and knowledge of data handling best practices are important.
An understanding of fintech security protocols, including Fireblocks for digital assets and KYC verification tools like Jumio and FaceAPI, is required.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of Kubernetes at large scale, as well as experience with Prometheus and Grafana.
Deep expertise in database management, including clustering experience in RDS, TimescaleDB, and CockroachDB, is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimization are essential.
Advanced English communication skills are required.
