Description:

Intetics Inc is seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team.
The project involves a leading materials procurement platform for trade and self-perform general contractors.
The platform connects office teams, field crews, the warehouse, and vendors, allowing contractors to control their procurement process from takeoff to closeout.
Responsibilities include providing timely coverage for support requests, conducting in-depth investigations of issues, and automating repetitive processes to improve efficiency.
The role also involves building and maintaining scalable infrastructure, documenting processes for knowledge transfer, and contributing to long-term strategic initiatives.
The Senior DevOps Engineer will help upskill existing team members, identify inefficiencies, and evaluate new tools and technologies.

Requirements:

Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including deployment, management, and optimization of cloud resources.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation tasks, including system monitoring and API interactions.
Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi for programmatically defining and provisioning infrastructure.
Strong understanding of container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, including experience with container orchestration and managing cluster resources.
Familiarity with TypeScript for developing cloud-based applications or automation scripts is a nice to have.
Experience with AWS services and best practices, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS, is also a nice to have.
Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus or Grafana to set up observability for systems and applications.
Skills in incident management and response, including on-call rotation experience and root cause analysis.
Awareness of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments is beneficial.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automating the software delivery process is a plus.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and hands-on experience with configuring and troubleshooting network issues in cloud environments is desirable.
Ability to analyze and optimize system performance, including identifying bottlenecks and implementing caching strategies.
