Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Architect, maintain, and operate infrastructure using modern IaC methodologies such as Terragrunt, Terraform, and Packer.
• Support development teams in performing releases, infrastructure changes, and incident management.
• Configure, maintain, and provide templates and examples of an Observability platform's use.
• Automate work efficiently while maintaining ownership, checks, balances, and accountability.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an infrastructure engineer in a DevOps environment.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS, managing multiple accounts with various production environments.
• Good understanding of security hardening of platforms and processes.
• Comfortable with common CI/CD patterns and tools.
• Strong understanding of Docker and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes, Nomad, or Apache Mesos.
• Proficient in Observability and incident management tools like NewRelic, Honeycomb, or Datadog, preferably using Open Telemetry for vendor-independent transport.
• Familiarity with the Hashicorp stack (Vault, Terraform, Nomad, Consul).
