Zowie is scaling its infrastructure to meet growing demand and is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer.
The role involves managing production infrastructure, including cloud Kubernetes environments, monitoring stacks, and database technologies such as MongoDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and Redis.
Responsibilities include supporting the software release cycle, automating development environments, managing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring role-based access distribution.
The engineer will communicate with stakeholders to understand challenges, provide solutions, and share best practices.
Incident response support is required to help diagnose infrastructure-related problems during incidents.
Security protocols must be implemented and managed to protect company data and systems.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Systems Admin, or similar roles.
High proficiency in working with AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure is required.
Familiarity with any CI/CD tool is necessary.
Solid expertise in managing relational database systems is essential.
Competence in developing automation scripts in bash is required, with Python being a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a pragmatic can-do attitude, are important.
A high degree of ownership and the ability to drive projects from specification to successful delivery is expected.
Strong communication skills are a must.
Candidates should be composed in high-pressure situations to effectively support engineers during incidents.
