Description:

The company is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to oversee infrastructure, security practices, and ensure the efficiency and reliability of cloud-based systems.
The role requires a strong background in SOC2 compliance, cloud cost management, Kubernetes cluster management, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, customer support, and IT security.
Responsibilities include assisting with the technical roadmap for IT and DevOps, managing SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, implementing cloud cost management strategies, ensuring cloud and IT security protocols, overseeing IT services, automating cloud management, managing CI/CD pipelines, creating documentation, and providing Tier 2 support for infrastructure-related issues.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, IT, or similar role.
Experience with security compliance and cloud security, particularly SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, is preferred.
Proficiency in all three major cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, and Azure is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and containers is required.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, is essential.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus is needed.
Candidates must have experience managing cloud and IT security protocols.
Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
