The company is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance their cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities include managing, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD workflows, and deployment pipelines.
The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and Terraform.
The engineer will implement and optimize GitOps workflows with tools like ArgoCD and Github Actions.
Automation scripts will be built and maintained to manage infrastructure and deployments.
Monitoring, logging, and alerting systems will be set up to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Collaboration with development, product, and other DevOps teams is essential for continuous delivery of high-quality software.
The engineer will develop and maintain internal developer portals using Backstage to enhance developer experience.
Security and compliance of infrastructure and applications must be ensured.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration is required.
Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure management is necessary.
Proven experience with GitOps principles and tools, preferably ArgoCD, is essential.
A solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with Github Actions is required.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana is necessary.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is required.
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages are essential.
A solid understanding of security practices in cloud environments is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues are required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote-first team are essential.
Experience with Backstage and internal developer portals is preferred.
