Yassir offers on-demand services such as ride-hailing and last-mile delivery and is now introducing financial services to help users pay, save, and borrow digitally.
The role is for a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join the Cloud Operations squad, focusing on building high-performance, scalable, mission-critical, and secure systems in the cloud.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining scalable systems using Kubernetes in a GCP cloud environment, improving CI/CD processes, handling incidents, developing infrastructure as code, and automating deployment and scaling processes.
The position involves continuously improving infrastructure and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 6 years of experience in a similar role, building and maintaining large-scale, distributed infrastructure environments in the cloud.
Strong experience with Linux administration and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and TypeScript is required.
Proven experience with Containers and Container Orchestration technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes, is necessary.
Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform, CDK for Terraform, or Pulumi is essential.
Candidates should have experience working with cloud infrastructure and services, particularly GCP, AWS, or Azure, with at least 1 year of experience in GCP.
Previous experience with CI/CD processes and programming languages such as Node.JS or Python is required.
A strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices is necessary.
Familiarity with relational and non-relational database models, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis, is expected.
Experience with ElasticSearch, LogStash, and Kibana, as well as Prometheus and Grafana, is a plus.
Candidates should possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, the ability to prioritize and self-start, and be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
