Description:
We are a fully remote company looking for a Senior/Principal DevOps Engineer to help us automate, secure, and scale our infrastructure.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about infrastructure as code, automation, and scalable systems, and thrive in a remote environment.
You will work closely with our architects, CTO, and cross-functional engineering teams to build robust and secure solutions.
The role involves designing and building scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure.
You will automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Helm.
The position requires building and improving CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of multiple platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
You will set up monitoring and logging for real-time system insights using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
The role includes designing and implementing infrastructure for data lakes and ETL pipelines.
You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure system integrity and security.
The position also involves contributing to security best practices, including incident response and disaster recovery planning, and implementing advanced security measures, including IAM policies, VPC design, and encryption.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing and maintaining scalable Linux-based environments is required.
Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure is essential.
Experience with infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform / Terragrunt is necessary.
Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes is required.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation is a must.
Strong database experience, especially with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Memcached, is needed.
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki is required.
Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture is essential.
Experience working in a fully remote environment is a nice-to-have skill.
Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or Golang applications is a plus.
Knowledge of serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, RDS Serverless) is beneficial.
Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd is a plus.
Familiarity with data lake solutions and ETL pipelines is advantageous.
