Description:

  • We are a fully remote company looking for a Senior/Principal DevOps Engineer to help us automate, secure, and scale our infrastructure.
  • The ideal candidate should be passionate about infrastructure as code, automation, and scalable systems, and thrive in a remote environment.
  • You will work closely with our architects, CTO, and cross-functional engineering teams to build robust and secure solutions.
  • The role involves designing and building scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure.
  • You will automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Helm.
  • The position requires building and improving CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of multiple platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
  • You will set up monitoring and logging for real-time system insights using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
  • The role includes designing and implementing infrastructure for data lakes and ETL pipelines.
  • You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure system integrity and security.
  • The position also involves contributing to security best practices, including incident response and disaster recovery planning, and implementing advanced security measures, including IAM policies, VPC design, and encryption.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing and maintaining scalable Linux-based environments is required.
  • Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure is essential.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform / Terragrunt is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes is required.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation is a must.
  • Strong database experience, especially with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Memcached, is needed.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki is required.
  • Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture is essential.
  • Experience working in a fully remote environment is a nice-to-have skill.
  • Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or Golang applications is a plus.
  • Knowledge of serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, RDS Serverless) is beneficial.
  • Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data lake solutions and ETL pipelines is advantageous.
