True Anomaly is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to contribute to the evolution of complex spacecraft modeling and simulation software.
The role involves establishing and sustaining continuous integration and deployment processes using CI/CD tools to streamline development workflows.
Responsibilities include overseeing the deployment, scaling, and management of applications using Kubernetes, designing and managing cloud-based solutions primarily on Azure, and utilizing Terraform for cloud resource management.
The engineer will work closely with security teams to enhance infrastructure security and implement monitoring and logging solutions.
The position requires assisting software development teams with troubleshooting and optimizing performance, deploying applications in challenging environments, and engaging in problem-solving during design and debugging stages.
Candidates do not need prior experience in aerospace or building space ground systems.

Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have at least 6 years of DevOps and cloud experience.
Experience with any flavor of Linux and containers, as well as container orchestration, is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions.
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki is required.
Production experience in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure is essential.
A strong understanding of Kubernetes, specifically AKS and Helm, is needed.
Candidates must have a strong understanding of Terraform use cases and best practices.
Experience in setting up production-grade networking with hybrid clouds is required.
Intimate knowledge of protocols such as TCP and HTTP(S) is necessary.
Proficiency in any scripting language (Bash, Python, etc.) is required.
Candidates should hold a cloud certification in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
An understanding of security and compliance in a DevOps context is essential.
Benefits:
The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $137,000 to $170,000.
