Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Oddball is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to contribute to a significant Federal program that positively impacts millions of Americans' daily lives.
• The role involves collaborating with other DevOps engineers to establish best practices in the federal space.
• Responsibilities include creating and documenting CI/CD jobs, developing infrastructure using Terraform, writing Ansible playbooks, and building tools.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience with AWS tools such as EKS/Docker, S3 Replication/S3 cross account access, RDS Aurora Postgres, RedShift, EC2, NLB, and Secrets Manager.
• Proficiency in Jenkins and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform is required.
• Applicants should possess skills in developing and enhancing CI/CD scripts and services for both development and deployment.
• Experience with Argo Workflow, AWS VPC/Networking, AWS Route 53, Certificates knowledge, AWS Security Hub, DevOps Best Practices, and AWS Fargate ECS is considered a plus.
• A collaborative mindset is essential, as the candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team of developers, managers, and product managers.
• Experience in Agile software development teams is necessary.
• Candidates must be US Citizens and able to work domestically.
• The ability to attain a low-level security clearance is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
