Description:
You will be working with a diverse team composed of talented Engineers immersed in the area of private investment banking.
The position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS cloud environments, focusing on automation, scalability, and security.
You will manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring the reliability and performance of containerized applications.
The role requires developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code using Terraform for consistent and reliable cloud deployments.
You will create and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools to automate testing, integration, and deployment processes.
Writing and maintaining automation scripts in Bash, Python, and JavaScript to support DevOps processes and system management is essential.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues within AWS services, Kubernetes clusters, and networking to minimize downtime is part of the job.
Collaboration with cloud security teams to harden infrastructure and working closely with software engineers to improve operational workflows and system provisioning is expected.
You will enhance observability and supportability of cloud-based databases and storage solutions, ensuring high availability and resiliency.
The position allows for 100% remote work if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can join the office.
Requirements:
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent is required.
Strong expertise in AWS services and Kubernetes management is necessary.
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code practices, particularly with Terraform, is essential (experience with CloudFormation is a plus).
You must be skilled in scripting with Bash, Python, and JavaScript (Typescript is a plus).
Experience with CI/CD systems and pipelines, including Jenkins, GitLab Runners, and CodePipeline, is required.
A solid understanding of networking, troubleshooting in cloud environments, and working with compute platforms like EC2, Kubernetes, ECS, and Lambda is necessary.
Experience with GitOps, modern SDLC practices, and cloud-based repositories like GitHub, GitLab, and CodeCommit is required.
Previous software development experience and excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.
Excellent written and verbal English is required for clear and effective communication with the team.
At least 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer is necessary to thrive in this role.
