Description:

  • They are seeking a Senior/Principal DevOps Engineer to automate, secure, and scale their infrastructure.
  • The role involves designing and building scalable cloud infrastructure, automating provisioning using Terraform and Helm, and improving CI/CD pipelines for various platforms.
  • Responsibilities include setting up monitoring and logging systems, designing infrastructure for data lakes and ETL pipelines, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to ensure system integrity and security.
  • The tech stack includes Ruby on Rails, Rust, Go, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and various monitoring tools.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have proven experience managing scalable Linux-based environments.
  • Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure is required.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or Terragrunt is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes is essential.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation is required.
  • Candidates should have strong database experience, particularly with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Memcached.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki is necessary.
  • An understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture is required.
  • Nice-to-have skills include experience in a fully remote environment, familiarity with Ruby on Rails or Golang, knowledge of serverless technologies, and experience with service mesh technologies.
