Description:

  • We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with a passion for building products, who can lead complex infrastructure development, and who loves to work in small fast-paced teams.
  • This role will work across several various projects internally and will be leaned on for leadership and direction when it comes to DevOps best practices.

  • Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and contributing to the management of cloud infrastructure solutions that align with the company’s objectives and cloud strategy.
  • The role involves collaborating with development teams to automate and optimize cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring a seamless infrastructure-as-code (IaC) environment.
  • Enforcing best practices for cloud security, including managing access controls, monitoring security compliance, and conducting regular security assessments is essential.
  • Monitoring cloud infrastructure performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising on performance or security is required.
  • Contributing to disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring data integrity and availability across all cloud services is part of the job.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends to recommend and implement improvements to the cloud infrastructure is necessary.
  • The role also includes contributing to the management of the organization’s on-premises servers, storage, and networking appliances, ensuring their optimal performance, security, and integration with cloud services.
  • Conducting regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades of on-premises infrastructure to meet security standards and operational requirements is expected.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 6+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience working on multiple projects/products is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is necessary.
  • Strong expertise in AWS, GCP, GitLab, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes is essential.
  • Extensive experience working on AWS tools such as Lambda, API Gateways, CloudWatch, ECS, Kinesis, and especially Kafka is required.
  • Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is necessary.
  • Candidates should have extensive experience with EKS and multi-zone deployment.
  • Experience in building and automating CI/CD pipelines, along with good IAC knowledge, is required.
  • A deep knowledge of multiple cloud platforms, advanced automation techniques, and extensive experience in architecting and scaling infrastructure is essential.
  • A strong understanding of DevOps best practices and methodologies is necessary.
  • Candidates should have a strong understanding of microservices architecture and basic Elastic Search knowledge.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
  • Candidates must be very detail-oriented and a self-starter.
