Description:

  • As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a key player on the DevOps team, working with various departments to implement and operate CI/CD solutions.

  • Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining tools for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software.
  • You will work with operations staff to ensure systems run smoothly and automate various processes.
  • The position involves managing the creation, release, and configuration of systems and optimizing service components on cloud environments like GCP, Oracle, AWS, and Azure.
  • You will also codify DevOps best practices and maintain build environments through scripting.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of DevOps work experience is required.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines is essential.
  • A strong understanding of Linux/UNIX administration is necessary.
  • Excellent skills in Python and other scripting languages such as bash for automation are required.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is needed.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing databases such as PostgreSQL is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills are essential.
  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles is necessary.
  • Preferred qualifications include technical cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Oracle, or Azure) and familiarity with Clickhouse databases.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare, Xen, KVM) and configuration management systems (Puppet, Chef, CFEngine, etc.) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of development methodologies across various technologies and a strong understanding of network protocols and client-server communication is also preferred.
