As a Senior Engineer on the Developer Productivity team, you will build systems and automation for the Motive platform across SaaS, Mobile, and Embedded/IoT products.
You will focus on secure and highly scalable distributed services using technologies like Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Tekton.
The role involves creating direction for development tools, automation, infrastructure, and release pipelines while mentoring fellow engineers.
Responsibilities include defining team initiatives, building automated delivery pipelines, improving local development experiences, and hosting collaborative sessions.

Requirements:

Advanced knowledge and experience in creating and improving engineering systems for efficiency.
Experience in building CI/CD infrastructure with various pipeline solutions such as Tekton, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
Proven ability to improve the SDLC release process and streamline microservice creation.
Expertise in Git flow and versioning strategies.
Familiarity with reproducible builds and best engineering practices.
Experience in enhancing developer experience with multiple stakeholders in large organizations.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Ruby on Rails, and Python.
Working knowledge of AWS services and technologies.
Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Experience in large-scale distributed release management processes and familiarity with Bazel is a plus.
Experience with container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience is required.
