GlitchD Labs is seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
The role involves collaborating with development and operations teams to establish best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process.
The engineer will manage and automate deployment processes across development, testing, and production environments.
Monitoring system performance and optimizing applications for maximum efficiency and reliability is a key responsibility.
The role requires collaboration with software development teams to ensure effective code changes and quality control.
The engineer will implement and manage cloud infrastructure services and resources.
Troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting operational issues in a timely manner is essential.
Recommendations for improvements in system architecture, performance, and security will be part of the job.
Participation in on-call rotations to support operational incidents as needed is required.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
The candidate must have 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, including deployment, scaling, and managing clusters in production environments is necessary.
Strong expertise in containerization technologies like Docker, including creating, managing, and optimizing Docker containers is required.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD is essential.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation is needed.
An understanding of networking, security principles, and system monitoring tools is important.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
