Description:

EverOps is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their U.S.-Based Virtual Operating Center, working remotely.
The role involves managing multiple customers’ production cloud environments and requires a deep understanding of enterprise cloud infrastructure.
The engineer will develop and use automation tools to operate, manage, and scale production and development environments quickly.
Responsibilities include participating in regular customer and internal scrums, monitoring environments for constant improvement, implementing new tools and technologies, designing and executing new solutions, and providing operational support for project deployments.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps, CloudOps, or Site Reliability Engineer.
A hands-on experience and deep understanding of Linux is required.
Strong hands-on professional experience with programming languages such as Ruby, Python, Bash, Typescript, Rust, or Golang is necessary.
Experience with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Azure in designing, building, and running highly-available cloud-native environments is essential.
Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, Chef, and Packer is required.
Candidates should understand best practices related to Infrastructure as Code and have experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, Argo CD, Spinnaker, or Travis CI is needed.
Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) is important.
Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog, Splunk, ELK, or Prometheus/Grafana is required.
Candidates should have NoSQL experience with databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, or DynamoDB, as well as relational database experience with MySQL or Postgres.
