Description:
- Machinify, a healthcare software company, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to automate AI/ML cloud technologies, focusing on migrating from VMs to Kubernetes.
- The role involves designing, engineering, and integrating production and pre-production environments, as well as managing configuration management of underlying technologies.
- Responsibilities include facilitating VM migration to Kubernetes, automating processes, architecting high-performance solutions, troubleshooting AI/ML technologies, and collaborating with a diverse team.
- The position requires working in an Agile environment, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and being accountable for all built and supported systems.
Requirements:
- Experience in migrating VM Technologies to Kubernetes
- 5+ years of production support in a Cloud Environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Containerization with Kubernetes, scripting, Crossplane/Terraform, Linux, Spark/Machine Learning in the Cloud, distributed machine-learning/AI frameworks, Operations security practices, compliance environments, CI/CD frameworks, and Citus (Distributed Postgres a plus)
- Strong logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and adaptability
