Description:
The Senior DevOps Engineer will work at 3Pillar, a leading product development partner, focusing on building breakthrough software products that drive growth for industry leaders.
The role involves facilitating effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations.
The engineer will craft client code that is efficient, performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.
Responsibilities include participating in planning and estimation efforts, gathering requirements, and organizing/presenting developed features for clients.
The engineer will execute complex activities within current methodologies and quality standards, showcasing success across diverse engagements.
Collaboration with engineers, designers, and managers is essential to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions that drive client success.
The role includes engaging in agile software development practices such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team retrospectives.
The engineer will mentor others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) and support the growth of technical capabilities.
The position requires independently driving project delivery within defined architecture, demonstrating autonomy and accountability from conceptualization to deployment.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in relevant areas is required.
Experience in Agile software development methodologies is essential.
Expertise in applying Object-Oriented Programming principles, including abstraction and encapsulation, is necessary.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS Technology is required.
Additional desired experience includes Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs), architectural and design patterns, unit testing, working in the cloud, and using containers with Docker/Kubernetes.
Specific client-engagement technologies will be determined during the interview process.
