Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

Description:

• The Senior DevOps Engineer will work at 3Pillar, a leading product development partner, focusing on building breakthrough software products that drive growth for industry leaders.
• The role involves facilitating effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations.
• The engineer will craft client code that is efficient, performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.
• Responsibilities include participating in planning and estimation efforts, gathering requirements, and organizing/presenting developed features for clients.
• The engineer will execute complex activities within current methodologies and quality standards, showcasing success across diverse engagements.
• Collaboration with engineers, designers, and managers is essential to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions that drive client success.
• The role includes engaging in agile software development practices such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team retrospectives.
• The engineer will mentor others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) and support the growth of technical capabilities.
• The position requires independently driving project delivery within defined architecture, demonstrating autonomy and accountability from conceptualization to deployment.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in relevant areas is required.
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies is essential.
• Expertise in applying Object-Oriented Programming principles, including abstraction and encapsulation, is necessary.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS Technology is required.
• Additional desired experience includes Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs), architectural and design patterns, unit testing, working in the cloud, and using containers with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Specific client-engagement technologies will be determined during the interview process.
