Description:

Blue Coding is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a global leader in government technology.
The role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure and automation within Azure Cloud environments.
Responsibilities include designing, testing, and deploying highly scalable Azure Cloud infrastructure, managing the Azure DevOps environment, and acting as a technical subject matter expert for software releases.
The engineer will create and maintain documentation for application configurations and processes, develop and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines, and provide technical escalation support.
The position involves mentoring team members on IaC, containerization, and CI/CD, and contributing to operational process improvement.
The work environment is fully remote, and the team is culturally diverse and engaged in various initiatives.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience with IaC tools like Terraform and designing and building platforms in Azure Cloud or similar environments.
5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, and in designing DevOps build guides is necessary.
Experience with container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes for at least 5 years is required.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience leading projects from conception to fruition and integrating best practices and DevSecOps methodologies.
Expert knowledge of Azure infrastructure for troubleshooting and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure PaaS services is essential.
Familiarity with Azure AD, IAM, RBAC, and encryption tools, as well as Azure monitoring tools, is required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams are necessary.
