Description:

Gorilla Logic is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to work remotely in Colombia.
The role involves collaborating with a team of developers and engineers to build infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
The position requires effective teamwork, critical thinking, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.
Responsibilities include the strategy, design, implementation, and management of the CI/CD pipeline for automated deployment of products and services.
The engineer will implement automated infrastructure as Code (IaC) and build tools to reduce errors and enhance customer experience.
The role also involves scaling out and building monitoring capabilities for applications and infrastructure.
The engineer will maintain configuration management and design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
Responsibilities extend to maintaining source control systems for applications and infrastructure, as well as managing cloud and virtualized structures.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of development experience, including DevOps and release management.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in building and managing a CI/CD pipeline environment is necessary.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of Linux experience in a development context.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in building and maintaining cloud-native services with AWS is required.
Experience with shell scripting and/or scripting in Python, Go, or Groovy is essential.
Candidates must have experience deploying web and/or mobile applications to QA staging and production.
Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, and/or Ansible is required.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Containers and Orchestration) is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
Expert knowledge of source code management and Git strategies is required.
The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is essential.
Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members are necessary.
Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are required.
