They are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to work on a project in the Fintech industry.
The role involves being part of a distributed team that develops innovative financial process automation solutions.
The position requires assisting the team in adopting modern DevOps and SRE practices.
Responsibilities include developing tooling for IT automation, configuration management, reporting, and performance monitoring/tuning on Linux.
The engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure in Azure.
Participation in migrations between cloud providers and from on-premise to cloud is expected.
The role involves automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Implementing and enforcing security best practices is a key responsibility.
The engineer will work with Docker and Kubernetes and actively participate in team discussions to contribute ideas for team success.
Familiarity and proficiency with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is required.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent work experience is required.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally with Azure, is essential.
Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI is necessary.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible is required.
Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is expected.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack is important.
An understanding of networking and security principles is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are required.
Previous experience working with GCP and/or AWS is a nice-to-have.
Experience in payments and other financial domains is also a plus.
Professional certifications are considered an advantage.
