Remote Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure) (Remote, Brazil)

Description:

• The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing cloud-based applications/platforms for clients.
• The ideal candidate should have a modern DevOps mindset, be well-versed in the latest DevOps tools & technologies, and have extensive experience in a remote agile environment.
• Responsibilities include developing infrastructure to support cloud-based applications, creating deployment architect and continuous delivery pipelines, designing high-availability approaches, and implementing monitoring architecture.
• The role requires proficient communication in English, experience delivering at an enterprise level in a remote agile environment, managing and automating complex platforms/applications on Azure, working with containers and container orchestration (preferably Kubernetes), using infrastructure as code technology (preferably Terraform), building CI/CD pipelines (preferably with Github actions), data storage experience with RDBMS and NoSQL technologies, understanding observability practices, security assessments frameworks (e.g., Soc2), and the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Desirable skills include experience as a consultant, working with multiple cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure), and possessing any Azure Certifications.

Requirements:

• Proficient communication in English (oral and written).
• Experience delivering at an enterprise level and in a remote agile environment.
• Experience managing and automating complex platforms/applications on Azure.
• Experience working with containers and container orchestration, ideally including Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure as code technology, ideally with Terraform.
• Experience with CI and building CD pipelines, ideally with Github actions.
• Data storage experience with RDBMS and NoSQL technologies.
• Solid understanding of observability practices across the stack.
• Experience with security assessments frameworks (e.g., Soc2) and security awareness throughout the stack.
• Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders, feeling comfortable in client-facing roles where you will drive technical discussions and advise on best practices and approaches.
