Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

Description:

• As a Senior DevOps Engineer at OREDATA, you will be responsible for laying the foundation for the platform and proposing solutions to facilitate software development.
• You will collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, developers, and other team members to develop and review designs and business requirements.
• Completing all assigned tasks and projects within set timelines and meeting deadlines will be a key part of your role.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• You should have at least 5 years of experience in DevOps & Cloud projects.
• Knowledge of Cloud Technologies such as Google Cloud (preferred), Azure, AWS with certification is necessary.
• Experience with provisioning and configuration tools like Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, Pulumi, etc., is essential.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration is required.
• Ability to write scripts and automation tools using Python, Bash, etc., is a must.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and other container orchestration technologies is needed.
• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD tools for version control, deployment, and test automation is necessary.
• Understanding of open-source server software like NGINX, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch, etc., is required.
• Experience in log management, analysis, metrics reporting, build and performance monitoring/tuning of various infrastructure is essential.
• Designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems is a key requirement.
• Familiarity with APM tools, Log Analysis, and Monitoring tools like Elastic APM, Kibana, Grafana, etc., is necessary.
• A passion for learning new technologies and an advanced level of English proficiency are required.
