Description:

The position is for a Senior DevOps Engineer at ZigZag Global, a remote role based in Portugal.
The company focuses on eCommerce returns and aims to enhance customer experiences while promoting sustainability.
The DevOps Engineer will work within a small, distributed team to design, implement, maintain, and support the infrastructure and application architecture of ZigZag’s SaaS product hosted in Microsoft Azure.
Key responsibilities include managing infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, monitoring and logging, ensuring security and compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture is essential.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is required.
A good understanding of helm and GitOps tools like ArgoCD and Flux is necessary.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python is expected.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI is required.
Practical experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus is necessary.
A solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles is essential.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are required.
