Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

Description:

• The position is for a Senior DevOps Engineer at ZigZag Global, a remote role based in Portugal.

• The DevOps Engineer will work within a small, distributed team to design, implement, maintain, and support the infrastructure and application architecture of ZigZag’s SaaS product hosted in Microsoft Azure.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture is essential.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is required.
• A good understanding of helm and GitOps tools like ArgoCD and Flux is necessary.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python is expected.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI is required.
• Practical experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus is necessary.
• A solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are required.
