Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Oddball is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to contribute to a significant Federal program that positively impacts millions of Americans' daily lives.
• The role involves collaborating with other DevOps engineers to establish best practices in the federal space.
• Responsibilities include creating and documenting CI/CD jobs, developing infrastructure using Terraform, writing Ansible playbooks, and building tools.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have in-depth experience with configuration management tools such as GitHub Actions, Docker, CI/CD, DataDog, Terraform, Java, and Python.
• The ability to create and support AWS environments, including ECS, ECR, Lambda, and RDS, is required.
• Experience with Terraform and Docker, as well as container investigation, is necessary.
• Familiarity with Dynatrace is preferred, as the company is currently migrating from DataDog.
• Candidates should possess skills in developing and improving CI/CD scripts and services for development and deployment.
• A desire and ability to mentor and train other engineers is essential.
• Experience with Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, is required.
• Nice to haves include experience with Python and Java.
• Applicants must be US Citizens and able to work domestically.
• Candidates must be able to attain a low-level security clearance.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
