Description:
Oddball is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to contribute to a significant Federal program that positively impacts millions of Americans' daily lives.
The role involves collaborating with other DevOps engineers to establish best practices in the federal space.
Responsibilities include creating and documenting CI/CD jobs, developing infrastructure using Terraform, writing Ansible playbooks, and building tools.
Requirements:
Candidates must have in-depth experience with configuration management tools such as GitHub Actions, Docker, CI/CD, DataDog, Terraform, Java, and Python.
The ability to create and support AWS environments, including ECS, ECR, Lambda, and RDS, is required.
Experience with Terraform and Docker, as well as container investigation, is necessary.
Familiarity with Dynatrace is preferred, as the company is currently migrating from DataDog.
Candidates should possess skills in developing and improving CI/CD scripts and services for development and deployment.
A desire and ability to mentor and train other engineers is essential.
Experience with Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, is required.
Nice to haves include experience with Python and Java.

Candidates must be able to attain a low-level security clearance.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
