Remote Senior Devops Engineer

Description:

• The Senior DevOps Engineer at 3Pillar plays a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence by delivering high-quality code that combines Software Engineering and DevOps requirements on schedule.
• Responsibilities include independently monitoring and supporting Production environments, managing stories and tasks with minimal oversight, and contributing to backlog refinement and estimation of Platform Engineering initiatives.
• The role involves establishing trust with product software engineers, contributing to Platform Engineering Architecture, Code Review, and Process Improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of Software Engineering experience with blended DevOps experience.
• Led or participated in multiple technical projects as a high-contribution engineer.
• Proficiency in Node with ES6 Javascript (3+ years), SQL expertise (4+ years), OOP expertise, and architectural experience.
• Experience with Docker, AWS (Cloudformation and/or CDK preferred), Kubernetes/ECS/EKS, Lambda, VPC Networking, Storage, IAM Security, and Redis.
• Familiarity with Terraform is a plus.
