• The engineer will facilitate the adoption of containerization and orchestration technologies for a consistent, secure, and scalable environment.
• Leveraging Terraform and similar tools for IaC to automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure is essential.
• The role requires driving the integration of advanced cybersecurity measures into all aspects of the infrastructure and application development process.
• Collaboration with application developers and other stakeholders to automate and optimize workflows is crucial.

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge and practical application of secure-by-default and secure-by-design principles in cloud environments, specifically within AWS, is required.
• Expertise in implementing application security and compliance throughout the SDLC is necessary.
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform for IaC transformations and extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure automation is essential.
• A solid understanding of microservices architecture, containerization, and application development practices is required.
• Demonstrated experience with Linux system and network administration, alongside configuration management tools such as Ansible, is necessary.
• In-depth knowledge of Python and bash for automation, scripting, and development purposes is required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical designs and decisions are essential.
• A collaborative spirit with a strong inclination towards working closely with technical and product teams is necessary.
• A high degree of responsibility and reliability, with a track record of meeting deadlines and delivering on commitments, is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field coupled with over 7 years of relevant technical experience in architecture, cybersecurity, building infrastructure in support of SaaS application development, and operations is required.
• AWS DevOps Certification is highly desirable.
• A broad exposure to a variety of open-source technologies and tools is necessary.
• A proven track record of maintaining and enhancing infrastructure stability while integrating new features and technologies is required.
