The Senior DevOps Engineer will design and build infrastructure for the systems that run the products and business.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining tools for a scalable platform on GCP, providing mentorship, managing access for compliance, and contributing to agile processes.
The role involves enabling teams to deploy and operate services in production through self-service management tools.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a background in cloud Infrastructure Engineering/DevOps with experience in multi-tiered application architectures.
Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential, with knowledge of Azure and/or AWS being advantageous.
Experience with Terraform, Docker, and Google container environments is required.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools, preferably GitHub Actions, and integration of DevOps tools like SonarQube and Jira is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, or Go.
Understanding of Git Workflow and experience in monitoring, alerting, and logging is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux server environments and 3 years in building infrastructure with cloud services is necessary.
Candidates should embrace a culture of alerting and monitoring and be fluent in server configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform.
Familiarity with container deployment and strong communication skills are essential.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and a strong desire to automate manual processes are required.
Bonus points for experience with microservices architecture, large data environments, and healthcare with PII.
