Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Space Inch, a US-based design and development agency, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to manage and enhance infrastructure, automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure system reliability, security, and scalability.
• Tasks involve maintaining and optimizing continuous software delivery systems, providing deployment pipelines, documenting solutions, and ensuring code quality and performance.
• The role also includes troubleshooting and participating in designing scalable solutions and architectural decisions.

Requirements:

• Must possess compassion, empathy, and a strong DevOps mindset.
• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• 2+ years of software development experience, preferably with hands-on DevOps experience.
• Proficiency in Go, C#, Typescript, or JavaScript, with a willingness to learn new languages.
• Experience with GitHub Actions + Bash, React, CI/CD tools, REST API development, observability tools, containerization technologies, and messaging/stream architecture.
• Understanding of engineering fundamentals like unit testing, code reviews, and agile methodology.
• Knowledge of SQL, RDBMS, or NoSQL is a plus.
