Remote Senior DevOps Engineer / DevOps Engineering Manager

Description:

• Ethena Labs is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to contribute to building and optimizing the infrastructure for their crypto-based reward-accruing synthetic dollar protocol.
• The role involves designing and implementing modern cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring system reliability and availability, integrating security best practices, automating processes, mentoring the DevOps team, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and enhancing monitoring and telemetry systems.
• The Senior DevOps Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the long-term growth of the company and contribute to the success of Ethena Labs in the world of crypto finance.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or related engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, etc., including ECS/EKS, networking, load balancers, and other key cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform for building scalable and reproducible infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience in integrating DevSecOps best practices, managing cloud security, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and test automation.
• Knowledge of monitoring and telemetry systems such as Grafana, InfluxDB, Prometheus, and ensuring high availability for production environments.
• Ability to modernize legacy infrastructure, mentor junior team members, and foster a collaborative culture.
• Bonus: Experience with Nitro enclaves, HSM, and trading systems infrastructure is a plus.
