Description:

The Senior DevOps Engineer at emerchantpay will be responsible for automating infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.
They will manage over 100 Linux servers in a PCI-DSS level environment.
The role includes overall technical operations and monitoring on different layers.
The engineer will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems as they arise.

Requirements:

2-3 years of experience building infrastructure with automation tools such as Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.
Successful experience with major Cloud Providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
5-10 years of experience in Linux administration.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby.
Familiarity with automation tools like Jenkins and GIT.
Experience with databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, Galera, AWS RDS, AWS Aurora, and Cloud Spanner.
Proficient in virtualization, particularly in VMWare environments.
IT-related degree or similar qualification.
Excellent spoken and written English skills.
Enthusiastic, hard-working, motivated individual with strong communication skills.
Development experience and a strong networking background are considered advantageous, especially in a HA, PCI-DSS environment and payment-based infrastructures.
