Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

Description:

• SpryPoint, a leading provider of cloud-based solutions for the utility sector, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance their cloud infrastructure using AWS services like ECS, Fargate, and Aurora Serverless.
• The role involves leading the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure, driving the adoption of the AWS Well-Architected Framework, and automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with teams, enabling self-service capabilities, designing automation workflows, mentoring the DevOps team, and providing technical leadership for monitoring and troubleshooting in production environments.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of DevOps experience with expertise in AWS, including ECS and Fargate.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and automation with AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Knowledge of AWS services like RDS, Aurora Serverless, Transit Gateway, and Control Tower.
• Experience in designing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, cloud networking, security best practices, and monitoring/observability tools.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
