Description:

LivePerson is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Global Product and Tech: Cloud team, which consists of over 320 people across more than 22 countries.
The role involves designing, implementing, and managing secure and scalable cloud infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Responsibilities include developing and enforcing security best practices for cloud-based applications and managing Kubernetes (GKE) clusters.
The engineer will develop CI/CD pipelines that integrate GCP, Kubernetes, and HashiCorp Vault for secure and automated deployments.
Collaboration with security, DevOps, and development teams is essential to integrate HashiCorp Vault and Kubernetes into cloud workflows.
The position requires monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud environments.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Compute Engine, IAM, Cloud Storage, VPC networking, and security best practices.
Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) is a plus, including cluster management, workload orchestration, RBAC, network policies, and security hardening.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources is required.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with Vault and Kubernetes for secure and automated deployments is necessary.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana for cloud and Kubernetes environments is expected.
Candidates should be proficient in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Go to enhance operational efficiency.
Willingness to participate in paid on-call duty approximately every 6-8 weeks is required, in alignment with the "You Build It, You Run It" philosophy.
