Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

Description:

• The Senior DevOps Engineer at 3Pillar Global will lead the design and enhancement of automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, setting standards for excellence.
• The role involves architecting and managing complex cloud environments with a focus on performance, security, and scalability using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• The engineer will serve as a mentor to other DevOps Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best practices.
• The position requires tackling complex system performance issues, employing advanced analytical skills to maintain reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
• Candidates must have experience in DevOps with deep expertise in automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Advanced knowledge in monitoring, logging (Prometheus, ELK), source control (Git), networking, security, and database management is essential.
• Proficient coding skills in Python, Java, Ruby, or Go are required.
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor others, influence cross-functional teams, and lead by example in a collaborative environment are necessary.
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and foster an environment of teamwork and cooperation are important.
• Exceptional English communication skills are required for effective exchange of information with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to identifying and resolving system issues efficiently are essential.
