Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Deploy, update, and optimize applications in cloud and on-premise environments.
• Optimize large distributed databases handling multiple terabytes of data daily.
• Assess system and infrastructure health to recommend upgrades and changes.
• Educate peers and development teams on best practices for managing large data sets in ElasticSearch.
• Ensure quality, availability, reliability, and performance of a massive scale data processing SaaS environment.
• Develop automations, dashboards, and observability for a large distributed system in various hosting environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate and optimize legacy systems and acquisitions.
• Assist the Information Security team with security initiatives, change management workflows, and monitoring for security incidents.

Requirements:

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE in Cloud Environments and managed hosting environments.
• Experience with administering, scaling, and supporting ElasticSearch and similar data clusters is preferred.
• Proficiency in Cloud native and physical Infrastructure.
• Configuration of CI/CD for tools like Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to explain work to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
