Remote Senior Devops Engineer - Fully Remote

Description:

• The position is for a Senior DevOps Engineer, fully remote, based in Armenia.
• The working hours are between 8 PM and 5 AM GMT+4.
• Responsibilities include overseeing the maintenance and development of the current infrastructure and CI/CD processes.
• The role involves solving deployment challenges for applications in both test and production environments.
• The engineer will implement robust monitoring and logging systems.
• Participation in the analysis and resolution of incidents is required.
• Collaboration with the product team to ensure seamless operations is essential.

Requirements:

• Practical experience with tools and platforms such as Git, GitLab, GitLab-CI, Docker, Docker-Compose, AWS SDK (including EC2, Route 53, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS), Kubernetes, Ansible, Helm, Terraform, and FluxCD/ArgoCD/Fleet is necessary.
• Knowledge in Service Mesh solutions like Consul or Istio is required.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Zabbix is essential.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, TSDB) is needed.
• A strong understanding of Linux OS and network stack, along with practical troubleshooting skills, is required.
• Proficiency in shell scripting or Python is necessary.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with Golang and additional expertise in Service Mesh solutions.
