Remote Senior DevOps Engineer - GP (Terraform)

Description:

• Gorilla Logic is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a team of engineers within a client's system.
• The role involves enhancing and managing a mature Terraform infrastructure for a complex network architecture on GCP.
• Responsibilities include refining Terraform state management, upgrading CI/CD pipelines, enhancing test isolation, and developing custom Terraform providers.
• The successful candidate will need to work effectively with teammates, demonstrate critical thinking, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in roles like DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Cloud Developer.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments.
• Proven experience with cloud services on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline construction using Cloud Build, Jenkins, or Tekton.
• Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices, TCP/IP networking protocols, and security principles.
• Proficiency in Git, including pull requests, git flows, branch management, and merge conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of traffic management strategies, tools, and technologies for network optimization.
• Excellent communication skills and proficient in time management.
