Description:

• The company is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), CI/CD pipelines, monitoring solutions, centralized logging, and cloud resource optimization.
• The role involves developing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Responsibilities include managing infrastructure code using Git and implementing and maintaining container platforms using Kubernetes.
• The engineer will set up and manage Cassandra clusters for high availability and performance.
• The position requires creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing.
• The engineer will configure monitoring solutions and custom dashboards for system and application health.
• Centralized logging for log aggregation and analysis will also be part of the role.
• Security measures, compliance, and best practices must be implemented and maintained.
• The engineer will identify and resolve performance issues and plan for scalability.
• Designing strategies for system availability and data recovery is essential.
• Collaboration with teams, documentation of processes, and best practices is required.

Requirements:

• Several years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles, focusing on automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure management are required.
• In-depth knowledge of Apache Cassandra, including cluster management, performance tuning, and data replication strategies is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, including administration, troubleshooting, and shell scripting is necessary.
• A strong understanding of DevOps tools, scripting languages, and cloud platforms, ideally Azure, is required.
• Experience in designing, building, and supporting production and test environments using IaaC tools like Terraform or Ansible is needed.
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker) and Kubernetes is required.
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements in DevOps environments is necessary.
• The ability to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub is essential.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions and creating custom dashboards is required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams are necessary.
• Basic experience with Kafka is required, with a good understanding being an advantage.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues are essential.
