Description:
The Senior DevOps Engineer at Acquia will be responsible for designing and delivering secure and highly available solutions.
The role involves working with a tech stack that includes Linux, Kubernetes, Ruby, Go-lang, Python, pgSQL, MySQL, Redis, Jenkins, Github, and GCP.
Responsibilities include partnering closely with Engineering and Support teams, automating tasks for diagnostics, scaling, healing, and deployments, and ensuring the Monsido platform's deployment and continuous operation.
The position also involves developing and deploying solutions across infrastructure, network, and application layers on public cloud platforms, monitoring the SaaS platform's availability and performance, and collaborating on customer issues.
Additional tasks include working with distributed data infrastructure, developing dashboards, monitors, and alerts, improving development efficiency, code reliability, and test fidelity, and participating in an on-call rotation.
Requirements:
Expertise in Unix/Linux OS administration (5-8 years).
Proficiency in computer network setup and debugging.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Shell, Python, etc.).
Competence in deploying, tuning, and maintaining Linux-based, highly available, fault-tolerant platforms in public cloud providers like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Competence in Kubernetes, application containerization, SQL, relational database administration (PostgreSQL, MySQL), and configuration management.
Suggested years of experience in DevOps, build & release, software configuration management tools, DB/Data Platforms, application monitoring tools, Kubernetes, and containerization.
