The role involves joining the New Markets team as a Senior DevOps Engineer to launch innovative mobile app products.
Responsibilities include implementing DevOps practices, designing and building tools and frameworks, managing and deploying architectures, automating tasks across the CI/CD lifecycle, scaling solutions, promoting best practices in observability, and participating in an on-call rotation.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years in DevOps or SRE roles, focusing on tooling, automation, and distributed systems development, with significant experience in mobile app development.
A total of 8+ years of overall software industry experience is required.
Extensive experience in architecting, designing, and implementing deployments in AWS cloud environments is necessary.
Candidates should have an excellent understanding of networking and the ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues in an AWS environment.
Strong documentation and communication skills, along with presentation and demo skills, are essential.
Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or Codefresh is required.
Familiarity with configuration management platforms like Ansible, Chef, or Salt is necessary.
Hands-on experience using Terraform and/or Kubernetes at scale is required.
Strong scripting knowledge is essential.
Experience using monitoring frameworks to monitor the health and performance of infrastructure and applications is necessary.
Candidates should be strong mentors with a proven record of improving team performance.
The candidate must be located in the MST or PST timezone.
