Remote Senior DevOps Engineer - Product Metrics

• The Observability team is responsible for the observability platform that monitors internal services and customer instances of ClickHouse Cloud.
• The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, build, operate, and maintain components of a petabyte-scale platform that processes tens of millions of events every second.
• The role includes managing the Product Metrics component, which is crucial for internal billing and customer-facing dashboards.
• Responsibilities include determining the roadmap for Product Metrics, delivering new features, ensuring performance and reliability, mentoring team members, participating in on-call rotations, and improving observability across engineering teams.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant software development experience in building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language is required, with a preference for Go, but familiarity with Python, C, C++, Rust, or similar languages is acceptable.
• Experience with major Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience with data streaming/message brokering systems like Kafka or RedPanda.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Temporal, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform is required.
