Remote Senior DevOps Engineer - Product Metrics (Remote)

Description:

• ClickHouse is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to work on the Product Metrics component of the observability platform.
• The role involves designing, building, operating, and maintaining petabyte-scale systems for internal billing, accounting, and customer-facing dashboards.
• Responsibilities include determining the roadmap for the Product Metrics component, collaborating with the team to deliver new features, and ensuring performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• The position requires mentoring team members, participating in design discussions, being part of an on-call rotation, and improving observability across engineering teams.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, prioritize customer needs, excel in problem-solving, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development building scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language like Go, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
• Experience with major Cloud Service Providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data streaming systems like Kafka.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
